Started flying in 1992. Immediately after receiving my license, got checked out in the Mooney you see to the left. I purchased 1/2 ownership of the Mooney from Mom and Dad, and began flying for fun, business, and racing. Through the years gained an inordinate amount of IFR experience, through all the business travel. Also managed to place in almost every single entered race. Also, flew numerous Mercy Med Flights of Michigan, and was featured in this Free Press Article, photo. Angel Flight took over Mercy Med Flights and continuing the good and much needed work. Unfortunately sold the airplane in 2002, to hopefully a good home. I will start flying again in the future, but the house projects beckon both time and money. |
| Started boating and water-skiing in approximately 1985 with my first ski boat, Supra BowRider. Wanted to start barefooting, but the Supra was too slow to properly pull me. The only thing that made sense was to buy a brand spanking new Mastercraft, which I've owned since 1987. Boat has served me well, but in the process of buying a slightly used Nautique, ended up with another brand new MasterCraft 197. MasterCraft 197 is the bowrider version of their tournament hull. Boat has Perfect Pass speed control, heater, hot water shower, barefoot boom, and a rocking stereo system. | |
